Lingering Trauma

The Sandy Hook shooting disaster is sending out ripples of fear across America. All these poor kids are now scared for their lives, and the fear is directly fed by its tangibility in surrounding parents and relatives. The media handled this the wrong way in the very first place. Giving so much attention to the shooter is precisely what you want to avoid in this type of situation. psychologically, I mean. Don't they have analysts for this kind of thing? Why weren't they consulted prior to releasing any info to the media? There are some clinically insane people who want to go down in history, and who do not care if it’s for a horrible act. I’ve been trying not to get angry over this, but the more I think about it and hear mention of it the more angry I am. Good lord. It always seems as if this country is coming apart at the seams. Why can’t we all just get along? And why were guns invented?
