Assorted Poems

I had planned to keep these poems private, for no reason other than I might put them in a book chapter, but....this blog needs more creativity and less mess, so here!

Avenues of willows wave in the wind,
whispering words to my listening ear

In dew the meadows sleep,
awaiting the morning
while far-off forests in sunlight
steep

O' wondrous world of nature grand,
from highest peak to grain of sand;
valleys, plains, and oceans all,
upon my gaping vision fall

These draw on previously planted pictures. In other words, you're not placing a brand new image or concept in the reader's head, merely describing what they already know or have already seen.
